Bowie's kind of all over the map in my opinion as an actor, though I haven't seen everything he was in. He was involved in acting as early as the mid to late 60's in British ice cream commercials and such. Had the mother of all mullets playing the king of the goblins in "Labyrinth," the collaboration between Jim Henson and some of the Monty Python guys in the mid 80's, a mediocre film.
