Doug Batchelor 1

Doug Batchelor is NOT Biblically correct....hate to disappoint anyone who has been fooled by him.His denial of GOD's children being called to Jesus before the wrath of GOD is poured out on this world is enough. He says us Christians are to suffer as Daniel did. As Shadrak, Meshak and Abendigo did....I don't think so.

True worshipers of God will be persecuted(John 15:20,21). I agree that as Christians we are to suffer as Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did...even Christ suffered as He said "take up your cross and follow me."

The Bible clearly states that Christians will not suffer God's wrath.Thats a different word than persecution. There are too many Sabbath freaks. We are saved by The Grace Of GOD. Period. We are covered by the Blood Of The Lamb. Period. The command that encompasses all other commands is LOVE. This world is really lacking in that department. The worship of diets and days is a man created bunch of baloney.Do your research on the true sabbath and you will find 100's of arguments.Just what satan likes......Hatred and Discord

God's people will be marked with the seal of God on their forheads before His wrath is poured out on the world. The plagues that come, will not affect those with the seal of God. Psalms 91:7 You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. As for the Sabbath, God's Law is a reflection of His character. To do away with His law is to do away with Him. He does NOT change. He is not a liar. If you LOVE Him, you should have strong desire to obey Him. If you love Him keep His commandments. His grace does NOT blot out the Law. [We ought not sin, but if we do, we have an Advocate Jesus. But if you continue to sin after recieving the knowledge of the truth then what sacrafice is there? Sin is disobeying God. You shall not kill, steal, lie, committ adulterey....just as you are to do NO work on the 7th day because that is the Sabbath the Lord your God.] [I paraphrased] On a personal note, you seem to have something against the sabbath. I don't understand how you can be angry at what God has declared Holy? We are to keep the whole law for if we fail at one point we are quilty of them all. I know it can be inconvience at first to have to adjust your living habits and work habits, but when it all comes down to it in the end, it is between you and God. What will you tell Him? That you had more important things to do rather than Remember Him on His Holy Day. If you ask God in Jesus' name for the truth in all aspects of your life and in His word and seek Him diligently, then your eyes will be given the sight of what is truth and what is error. At this point, you are left to decide what side you stand on...Mark 7:9 Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition. 2Th 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will be blessed with the peace of knowing the Truth and the strength to follow Jesus where ever He may go. Amen.

I was raised a SDA and still have family members that are Adventists. They hang on the Sabbath Law for their salvation. I'm sorry but your works will not save you, only your faith in Jesus Christ the Lord of the Sabbath can save you. Theydoen't adhere to the whole Jewish laws either, they pick and choose, they don't believe you should eat unclean meat (many are vegetarians even, and think you shouldn't eat meat at all, cause ellen white said it was bad for you)---but why don't they follow All the Jewish Laws and statutes in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy? Why pick just some and not all? The 10 Commandments were the basis of the law for the Jews but not all of it. If any man can keep the whole law, and not break any of God's commandments, then why would they even need a Savior. Why would Jesus come down here and die for the sins of the world? The Old Testiment was God's covenant with his people the Jews, the New Testament is the New Covenant which is Christ Jesus. Jesus did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it! When he dies on the Cross, he sait "It is finished!" I won't go on and on but I wanted to post a few verses in case anyone reading this is interested. I have struggled with this for a long time, and I know in my heart that none of us now or back then could keep the law and that is why God send Jesus here to die for our sins. We needed a Savior, for we couldn't save ourselves based on our works. Putting any law before Christ negates his death on the cross, making it seem as though His death wasn't enough, and that my dear Adventist friends is not rightful thinking! John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

It is interesting that you say that Daniel, Shadrak, Meshak, and Abednego suffered. I find it hard to believe that you have studied the Book of Daniel. God kept Daniel, Shadrak, Meshak, and Abednego from suffering.(Daniel in the lions den, and, Shadrak, Meshak, and Abednego in the fiery furnace). Were they persecuted? Yes. Will God's people in the future be persecuted? The Bible says yes. Many are being persecuted in countries all over the world right now, but God will give His people strength through troubled times.
