Most people are unable to perform at a high level of athletics past their mid thirties.

This can be greatly minimized by staying active.I've seen guys in their 60s and 70s at the gym in better shape than half the boys in High School.

There's no question that you can stay in shape and look good. But you can't avoid the deterioration of reflexes required to play sports at the highest level. There's a reason there's only a handful of 35+ players in the NBA. Basketball is a young man's game...
