Actually, menopause usually happens in late middle age. Not everyone is medically able to OD on hormones. It's just something you have to get through. It doesn't have to be the big deal the sitcoms make it out to be. Oh and BTW guys - men go through a type of menopause too so, let's all laugh about that for awhile.
