Although our systems do slow down with age,this problem isn't exclusive to the elderly.Most constipation is from an inadequate diet.We really need to eat more fruit,veggies and fiber,and less meat,and often constipation is really just dehydtarion.Some medicines may cause it,too-but more often than not a good diet,regular exercise and plenty of pure water will end the trouble.(Inactivity will also aggravate this problem)
