Not even close- professors get paid for what they know. . .the only downside is pressure to publish or perish. . .which makes for a tough and competitive racket which is so often misunderstood from the illiterate mobs that hound academica. . .doctors work longer hours and politicans wind up lying, losing, or getting caught chasing women or boys at inappropriate times. . .
