I had always thought that it was completly painless. I'd assumed it was like a Heroin or a Barbituate over dose. People who have over dosed to a near death state never complain about any pain or discomfort. That is probably how they should do it. The first drug they inject is something that causes paralysis. Then come the killing drugs. They may or may not make the comdemned feel as though they're drowning. No one knows because they can't struggle. If I had to choose, this would be my second choice. There is a chance it's painless. All executions are barbaric. What's next? Flogging, chopping off hands, are we fundamentalist Arabs? How about making a spectacle of executions? We could have them in the town square. How does Shi'a Law sound to those of you who are blood thirsty?
