I used their own data...off of their own servers...not the published stuff...to compare FAP to reality...and guess what...they purely and simply lied about it...were manipulating it. The service is not available at all during heavy usage periods...such as when the college kids are home on breaks. Tech support simply continually lied to me...told me I was on "They could see me" when I had the entire system powered down...unplugged. Those are the facts...and I have them documented and notarized also. Look at their approval rating on here, and tell me again how we are all wrong...and you are right. 999 soldiers in unison...one guy different...but he is right..the only one that is right. I don't think so. Wildblue is a total scam. You are the exception here, and I am not sure at all whether to believe you are really who you say either, and not somehow part of wildblue. They have been caught flaming before.

Frankly CJ...I am just not sure how to take you and your posts. Wildblue has pulled so much crap in the past, that I do not trust them to suddenly become reputable. I also see one person very out of step with the majority opinion, and am not sure either, if it is on the up and up. I am skeptical...yet reserving judgement on your posts...with good reason. If you get burned...you do not play with fire. Wildblue tends to burn everyone they touch...ergo...the warranted skepticism.

Ya know CJ...their ratings are constantly heading down into the toilet...always worse with time. I suspect, if indeed it is still working for you, then you do not expect as much from any ISP, as we other users do. I have DSL at the office, and know exactly what is expected of real broadband internet service. Wildblue is not close to my DSL...not even remotely in the ball game...in any respect. EVDO and WiMax will kill them...and none too soon. I'll dance on their grave. As for now...they are taking the money and running...using illegal signups and legal threats to intimidate the customers who chafe at the lack of service. They think they are the mob, and can do almost anything, and get away with it. So far...they have been correct...but I hear drums along the mohawk...and there will be a price paid very soon for their arrogance.

Read the posts on here CJ. You have a right to post, but you are running very contrary to the norm. You are deluding yourself, if you are assuming that anyone is reading your posts, and coming away with any warm feelings for Wildblue. You can...and do...post until the cows come home. it has essentially zero effect though. You are very out of step with the reality here. I am sorry Cj...being the single continuous exception as you are...no one takes your Copious...very one sided posts...at all seriously. You are entirely ineffectual. If you crack Wildblue's servers, and read the comments made by their techs, they know. They just do not really care. They are running a shell game...a con...it is that simple. They know it, and privately acknowledge it internally, but will never admit it otherwise. They have just been fortunate enough to fall between the cracks for law enforcement. Now though...with enough complaints...their day is coming. They made the mistake of scamming one of the high eschelon FCC members, and a congressman, and it is about to implode on them. No one is at all certain how to take your posts though, and generally ignore them. I for one am not at all sure where you even fit in. I just know you are not at all part of my reality, that of dealing with these nasty scammers...and they are aggressive and nasty. They violate everyone's consumer rights, just with their initial signup form. The fact is though, such forms are not legal and binding, in virtually every state. Their legal threats are hollow and empty.

Here is the most damning thing you can do on the internet: post your browser's user agent string where any script kiddie worth anything will find it on google and use that information to locate and crack your box. One more zombie for the next big DDoS... If you're not sure what a "user agent string" is, let me remind you with your own: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404. This little bit of information will tell a hacker exactly where to attack your system. Even to my not so trained eye, this says you are running Firefox 2.0.0.14 over Windows XP Service Pack 2. With a little more time and training, I'd know precisely where in your attack surface is supremely vulnerable. Simplemay way at the bottom, you are even more vulnerable by using Internet Explorer 7 over XP, especially at your apparently low patchlevel (the longer the string, the more patches are in place). All i would need is your IP address and the right crack script, (if I were of the evil mindset), and your systems would effectively be mine. Fortunately for you, I prefer to protect, rather than destroy.

That is especially true now, with the new WiFi Intel developed, and is utilizing overseas, that can reach 60 miles. Satellite is all but dead anyway, and Wildblue is already teetering on the brink. No one here is arguing about it working...when it works at all(most anyway)...but we are saying that it never works, and the FAP is a scam. Use your made up stats to show us that...LOL. Wildblue is off more than on, and the FAP (UAP it should be...for unfair access policy) is a total joke. If you do not retain dialup backup, you will have times entirely without internet...especially busy high usage times (usually the holidays) You pay a very high price, and get virtually nothing you pay for, in return. Tonight it sleeted and snowed, and my dish got coated with crud which caused downtime. I had to climb the ladder and clear away the blockage from both WildBlue and DirecTV dishes. (The sun nearly always takes care of this for me the next day, but I am currently up against a deadline, pressed for time, and wildly enjoying an overnight code.) I live in a snow zone. I keep a ladder leaned up against the house just below both dishes. Most people here do. Life at the 45th latitude is just below the edge of extreme, but it does get nasty. NOT A SINGLE ACTUAL CUSTOMER BELIVES THIS TRIPE SINCE THEY BEGAN
PAYING FOR NON-EXISTENT SERVICE!!!

THE ONLY THING THAT IS ALWAYS ON WITH WILDBLUE IS THEIR BILLING.
I SEEM TO HAVE INTERNET SERVICE FOR 5 SECONDS EACH MINUTE, SO WHY IS MY
BILLING NOT ALSO DIVIDED BY 12 ???

I THINK WILDBLUE USES TOO MANY KLUTZ INSTALLERS THAT DO NOT HAVE A CLUE
AND NEVER WILL!

HAVING WILDBLUE FOR AN ISP IS LIKE GOING TO THE MOVIES AND EVERY 5 MINUTES
GOING BACK OUT TO STAND IN LINE AT THE DOOR WAITING TO GET IN AGAIN. YOU ONLY SEE PART OF THE MOVIE BEFORE THEY SELL YOUR SEAT TO SOMEONE ELSE. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH SEATS IN

Here's my piece. I got an email in my hotmail account about the new comment TRICKEDBYWILDBLUE left on this post. It took my browser half an hour (no joke) to load the comment page for this review. While at the same time I was able to load and check messages on MySpace with relatively no problems and acceptable speeds. I below 70% on my bandwith download limit, so this should play no part in how long it took to load this page. Something is not right here, people.

I think those persons who leave glowing reviews for WildBlue are paid to sit on their asses all day long, leaving good reviews on different sites.

Funny how so very few think wildblue is great, and if it was so great for you........ IF........ you are just a plain wildblue customer which I highly doubt, you would NOT have come looking for this site.......... so talk with forked tounge to those that believe only one out of every 500,000 that speaks of GOOD wildblue service or has at least, WHAT they PROMISED............when all they do when you call is try & get you to commit to letting them drain even more money from you by increasing your selected package size.

A class action suit would be a good thing or at least a good investigation of the false services provided by wildblue for the money they charge......I am getting about $10.00 worth of service for $70.00 and I for one find that VERY VERY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LEARNED FROM OTHER WILDBLUE CUSTOMERS.

I WOULD LIKE TO READ HOW YOU JUSTIFY THESE ITEMS.

AFTER BEING ABLE TO GET ON THE INTERNET WITH WILDBLUE
ON RARE OCCASIONS, I MANAGED TO GET TOGETHER WITH
SOME OTHER LOCAL WILDBLUE USERS.

WE LOOKED AT EACH OTHERS SYSTEMS AND MADE MANY
OBSERVATIONS OF EACH INSTALLATION.

THESE WERE EACH DONE BY DIFFERENT INSTALLER PEOPLE.

THE ITEMS THAT WERE MOST COMMON TO ALL THESE
SYSTEMS FOLLOW;

THE POLE MOUNTS WERE EACH AND EVERY ONE MADE
WITH A SECTION OF 1-1/2" THIN WALL "EMT" ELECTRICAL
CONDUIT. THIS CONTRADICTS THE SO CALLED WILDBLUE
SPECIFICATION NOTED BY A FEW PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM
WHO SAY THEY INSTALL WILDBLUE SYSTEMS. THESE SO
CALLED SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MAST ARE IN ERROR
PARTLY BECAUSE THE DIMENSIONS GIVEN BY SEVERAL
OF THESE SO CALLED INSTALLERS IS TOO LARGE TO EVEN FIT
INTO THE DISH BRACKET THAT WAS USED. THE BRACKET
USED IS TOO SMALL TO FIT THIS MAST THEY ARE DREAMING UP.

NEXT, NONE OF THE POLE MOUNTS WHICH WERE INSTALLED
AT COSTS EXCEEDING $100.00 EACH WERE MADE WITH ANY
CONCRETE TO SET THIS IMAGINARY POLE INTO. THEY WERE
ALL SIMPLY DRIVEN INTO THE GROUND WITH EITHER A HAMMER
OR AS SOME SUBSCRIBERS WITNESSED, WITH A SLIDE
HAMMER POST DRIVER AS YOU USE TO DRIVE METAL
FENCE POSTS INTO THE GROUND. EACH OF THESE POLE
MOUNTS WAS EASILY MOVED BY HAND AND WE HAVE
STIFFENED A FEW BY DRIVING 2 OR 3 OF THESE METAL
FENCE POSTS FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY INTO THE GROUND
AROUND THESE CHEAP CONDUIT MOUNTS. THESE FENCE
POSTS WE ADDED WERE ATTACHED TO THE CONDUIT BY
JOINING 3 LARGE WORM GEAR AUTOMOTIVE HOSE CLAMPS
TOGETHER AND CLAMPING THE WIGGLY WILDBLUE CONDUIT
MAST TO THEM. THIS $25.00 ADDITION HAS HELPED SOME
PEOPLE TO BE ABLETO USE THE INTERNET WHEN THE
WIND BLOWS. 2 OF THE PEOPLE ARE PLANNING TO HAVE
6 INCH POST HOLES DRILLED BESIDE THEIR CHEAP RIP
OFF WILDBLUE POLE MOUNTS SO THEY CAN MIX AND
POUR QUICKCRETE CONCRETE TO STIFFEN THEIR DISH
MOUNTS. WE PREFER THE METAL FENCE POSTS OVER THE
CONCRETE BECAUSE A FEW OF THE THIN WALL CONDUIT
POSTS HAVE ALREADY BEGAN TO RUST THROUGH AND
CONCRETE WOULD NOT PREVENT THE DISH FROM
FALLING OVER IN A FEW MORE YEARS.

NEXT WE NOTICED THAT ON SOME OF THE WILDBLUE DISH
INSTALLATIONS THERE WERE PARTS MARKED DIRECT TV.
THESE SEEM TO BE PARTS INTENDED NOT ONLY FOR
A DIFFERENT BRAND OF EQUIPMENT, BUT ALSO IT LOOKS
LIKE THE DISH BRACKETS USED WERE FOR THE LITTLE
18" SATELLITE TV DISH MOUNTS. I WONDER HOW MUCH
MONEY THESE INSTALLERS WERE SAVING BY USING
SMALLER OR OTHER PARTS THEY HAD ON HAND INSTEAD
OF PURCHASING OR USING THE INTENDED WILDBLUE
EQUIPMENT WHICH WAS "SPECIFIED"?

ON MY WILDBLUE INSTALLATION THE INSTALLER WHO
NEVER COMPLETED THE SYSTEM SO IT WORKED RIGHT
USED A SCRAP MODEM WHICH I LEARNED HAD PREVIOUSLY
BEEN REPORTED AS HAVING BEEN SCRAP. I LEARNED
THIS FACT DURING THE SETUP OF THE USED MODEM I
PURCHASED ON EBAY. NEITHER THE INSTALLER NOR
WILDBLUE HAS EVER DONE ANYTHING TO EVEN TRY
TO COMPLETE MY INSTALLATION.

THE WB WARRANTY IS TOTALLY MEANINGLESS BECAUSE
THEY NEVER HONOR ANYTHING AT ALL!

ON MY SYSTEM THE 2 CABLES RUNNING FROM THE
DISH INTO THE HOUSE TO THE MODEM WERE NOT
TIGHT ANYWHERE. 1 CABLE HAD RADIO SHACK
PRINTED ON IT AND THE OTHER WAS MARKED AS
DIRECT TV. I REPLACED BOTH CABLES WITH CABLES
INTENDED FOR SATELLITE LNB USE AT 2 GHZ.
THE CABLES I REMOVED HAD SMALLER WIRE THAT DID
NOT FIT THE MODEM OR TRIA CONNECTORS SNUG.
THE SATELLITE CABLES I PURCHASED HAD LARGER
WIRE AND FIT SNUG WHEN PUSHING THEM IN TO
THE CONNECTORS TO TIGHTEN THE NUTS DOWN.
THEY ARE LONGER AND EVEN HAVE RUBBER
WEATHER BOOTS AND SEALANT IN A PACKAGE TO
KEEP THE CONNECTOR DRY INSIDE. THESE WB
CONNECTORS RELIED ON THE CABLE CENTER WIRE
TO MAKE CONTACT, WHILE THE CONNECTORS I GOT
HAD A CENTER PIN AS PART OF THE CONNECTION
WHICH MADE BETTER CONTACT WITH THE MODEM
AND TRIA CONNECTORS.

THE CONNECTORS ON THE DISH WERE NOT HARD TO
TURN, ONLY TOOK THUMB AND FINGER TO UNSCREW
AND HAD NEVER BEEN TIGHTENED PROPERLY. THIS
WAS NOTICED ON MOST OF THE OTHER WILDBLUE
DISH INSTALLATIONS AND WE HAVE A LOCAL CABLE
TV TECH WHO IS REPLACING SEVERAL OF THE POOR
CHEAP WILDBLUE CABLES WITH HIGH FREQUENCY
CABLES FOR ONLY $45.00 FOR TIME AND MATERIALS
FOR US. HE IS USING THE STURDY LOOKING LONG
THREADED CONNECTORS TO REPLACE THE TV ANTENNA
TYPE CABLES WILDBLUE USED. HE ACTUALLY USED
TOOLS TO INSTALL THE CONNECTORS INSTEAD OF
SIMPLY TWISTING THE CONNECTOR ONTO THE SMALL
DIAMETER TV CO-AX.

WE CHECKED ALL THE THREADED FASTENERS ON THE
DISH MOUNTS IN OUR LITTLE GROUP AND WE WERE
AMAZED AT THE NUMBER OF LOOSE AND NEVER EVER
TIGHTENED NUTS. EVERY INSTALLATION HAD SEVERAL
LOOSE NUTS AND SOME OF THE TRIA MOUNT SCREWS
WERE ALSO NOT TIGHTENED.

ON TOP OF THE MAST POLES THERE WERE SEVERAL OF
THE 3 BOLT CLAMPS WHICH ONLY HAD THE CENTER OF THE
3 TIGHTENED. SOME EVEN TOOK ABOUT 10 TURNS JUST
TO GET THE NUTS INTO CONTACT WITH THE CLAMP
TO BEGIN TO NEED A WRENCH TO COMPLETE THE ASSEMBLY.
MOST OF THE 2 BOLT CLAMPS HAD BOTH NUTS SNUGGED DOWN
BUT IT WAS RARE TO FIND ANY FASTENERS WHICH COULD NOT
BE TIGHTENED AT LEAST A FULL TURN TO BE TIGHT.

THERE WAS A RANGE OF MODEM TYPES FOUND IN OUR
LITTLE GROUP. ONE HAD A COMPUTER POWER SUPPLY
INSTEAD OF THE "VIASAT" BRAND POWER SUPPLY. I THINK
IT SAID COMMODORE OR ATARI OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT
AND HAD A SPLICE IN THE CABLE TO THE MODEM WHICH WAS
INSULATED WITH PLASTIC ELECTRICAL TAPE. WE FOUND A
PROPER POWER SUPPLY FOR HIM ON EBAY AND I HEARD HIM
SAY HIS INTERNET WORKS A LITTLE BETTER NOW.

ALL OF THESE PEOPLE LIVE IN RURAL AREAS WHICH ARE
NOT SERVED BY CABLE OR HAVE THE DSL INTERNET
OPTION FROM THEIR PHONE COMPANY. NONE OF THESE
PEOPLE HAS EVER BEEN ANSWERED BY WILDBLUE ON
ANY OF THEIR COMPLAINTS OR REQUESTS FOR THEIR
SYSTEMS TO BE CORRECTED.

OF THE FEW WHO REACHED A WB TECH SUPPORT
PERSON, ALL WERE TREATED IN A VERY RUDE MANNER
AND TOLD BY WB THAT THEIR COMPUTER WAS THE PROBLEM.

WHEN I HAD MY INSTALLATION, I THINK THE ONLY INTERNET
SCREEN WHICH CAME UP WAS FROM THE CD THE INSTALLER
PUT IN MY LAPTOP. BEFORE AN HOUR HAD PASSED FROM
THE TIME HE LEFT I TRIED TO CALL HIM BACK AT THE CELL
PHONE NUMBER HE CALLED ME FROM WHILE TRYING TO
FIND ME WITH HIS GPS. EACH TIME I CALLED THAT NUMBER
I WAS TOLD BY THE CELL SERVICE SYSTEM THAT HE WAS
EITHER OUT OF THE AREA OR HAD TURNED HIS PHONE OFF!

DURING THE INSTALL THIS KLUTZ KEPT SAYING THAT MY
LAPTOP WAS VERY SLOW AND PROBABLY HAD TOO MUCH ON IT!

I TOLD HIM THAT DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE BECAUSE I HAD
JUST PURCHASED MY NEW 17", 2GHZ, 200 GB, LAPTOP AND
HAD NOT INSTALLED ANY NEW SOFTWARE ONTO IT YET. I
TOLD HIM I HAD PURCHASED THIS JUST TO HAVE A FAST
INTERNET CONNECTION WITH WILDBLUE.

MY NEW LAPTOP CAME WITH AN 18 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION
TO A FIREWALL & ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM, BUT HE DELETED THIS
AND INSTALLED F-SECURE FROM HIS INSTALL CDR.

HE DID THIS WITHOUT ASKING ME, AND I AM NOT HAPPY
WITH THE F-SECURE PROGRAM, BUT HE SAID I HAD TO USE
F-SECURE OR I WOULD VIOLATE THE WB CONTRACT.

I SUSPECT THE THINGS HE DID WRONG IN THE INSTALLATION
AND THE THINGS HE DID BY WHATEVER WILDBLUE PLANNED
HAD THE EFFECT OF LIMITING MY ABILITY TO FULLY USE
MY INTERNET CONNECTION PROPERLY.

WHEN I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET ON THE INTERNET WITH
THE WILDBLUE EQUIPMENT I SAW SPEEDS SLOWER THAN
MY DIALUP WHICH I HAD INTENDED TO CANCEL AFTER MY
WB WAS IN. I STILL HAVE MY DIALUP BECAUSE I MUST KEEP
IT SIMPLY TO BE ABLE TO USE MY EMAIL AND HAVE AN
INTERNET CONNECTION AT ALL ON MOST DAYS.

EVERY NOW AND THEN WB RUNS 3 TO 4 TIMES FASTER THAN
MY 28,800 DIALUP, BUT I CAN NOT COUNT ON BEING ABLE TO
GET CONNECTED WITH WB.

ONCE IN A WHILE I WAS ABLE TO DOWNLOAD UPDATES TO MY
COMPUTER, BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO DISABLE ALL AUTOMATIC
UPDATES BECAUSE BETWEEN THE SEEMINGLY PLANNED WB
DISCONNECTS AND SATELLITE INTERRUPTIONS WHICH HAVE
MADE THESE UPDATE DOWNLOADS UNUSABLE, I NOW GET
ALL SOFTWARE UPDATES OVER MY DIALUP WHICH NEVER
DROPS OUT FOR ME AND NEVER GIVES ME THE MESSAGE
I GOT WHILE USING WB WHICH OFTEN STATED THE FILE
WAS CORRUPTED OR UNUSABLE.

AFTER THE MEMBERS OF MY GROUP GOT TOGETHER WITH
EACH OTHER TO TRY FIXING THEIR WB INSTALLATIONS AS
THEY COULD, NOT EVERYONE HAS HAD A VAST IMPROVEMENT
IN THEIR WILDBLUE INTERNET CONNECTIONS, BUT A FEW
DID REALIZE MUCH BETTER ABILITY TO USE THE INTERNET.

SOME PEOPLE WE TALKED WITH HAVE OTHER SATELLITE
INTERNET COMPANIES AND HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS.
WE WERE ABLE TO ASSIST A FEW OF THEM IN CORRECTING
THE POOR INSTALLATIONS THEY HAD AND UNLIKE THE
INSTALLATIONS MADE BY UNLICENSED AND IGNORANT
INSTALLERS, WE AT LEAST CARE ABOUT TRYING TO DO
THINGS CORRECTLY. NONE OF US HAVE FCC LICENSES
AS THOSE WHO INSTALL SATELLITE EARTH STATIONS
ARE REQUIRED TO, BUT AS IN MY WILDBLUE INSTALLATION
WHICH WAS DONE BY AN UNLICENSED INSTALLER WHO
DID SUCH A POOR JOB, WE DO CARE TO DO THE VERY
BEST WE CAN SINCE THE ONLY THING WILDBLUE IS EXPERT
ABOUT IS TAKING OUR MONEY FOR LITTLE IN RETURN.

I KNOW MY INSTALLER WAS NOT FCC LICENSED BECAUSE
I ASKED HIM AND HE SAID HE WAS NOT.

MY ADVICE TO EVERY READER ON THIS FORUM IS TO READ
EVERY POST AND ALL COMMENTS, BUT WHENEVER YOU
SEE A GOOD OR BETTER RATING FOR WILDBLUE, ASK
YOURSELF WHY SOMEONE WHO IS SATISFIED WITH
WILDBLUE WOULD HAVE THE NEED OR DESIRE TO
COME HERE UNLESS THEY HAD AN INTEREST IN CUTTING
US AND OUR HONEST STORIES ABOUT THE BAD SERVICE.

I RECENTLY RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM A COMPANY WHICH
STATED THEY HAD BEEN RETAINED BY WILDBLUE TO DO
A CUSTOMER SURVEY ABOUT WILDBLUE CUSTOMER
LIKES & PROBLEMS.

I TOOK THE SURVEY AND ANSWERED IT IN A FAIR & HONEST
FASHION. I GAVE WILDBLUE WHAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO
HARD TO EARN, A TOTALLY NEGATIVE RESPONSE IN EVERY
CATEGORY.

DURING THE SURVEY, THERE WERE SEVERAL OPTIONS IN
WHICH TO ADD MY TEXT COMMENT FOR CERTAIN SUBJECTS.
AT THE FIRST INSTANCE, I ADDED MY WORDS AND AFTER
REACHING THE "SUBMIT" AREA, I WAS INFORMED THAT
I HAD USED TOO MANY CHARACTERS!

I KNOW THIS SEEMS LIKE A BOOK, BUT CONSIDERING THE
BAD SERVICE WILDBLUE GIVES, MY WORDS ARE ACTUALLY
A COLLECTION OF IMPORTANT MINOR DETAILS.

NASA PUTS MANY MILLIONS OF MINOR DETAILS TOGETHER
IN ORDER TO HAVE ROVERS ON MARS AND THE INTERNATIONAL
SPACE STATION IN ORBIT. SHOULD WE EXPECT LESS FROM

NOW, IF SOMEONE IS AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO
COMMENT WHEN THERE IS NOTED DIS-SATISFACTION, WHY
WOULD A SURVEY PLACE AN UNREASONABLE LIMIT ON ONE'S
NUMBER OF CHARACTERS???

I FEEL IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SINCERE IN THEIR
QUEST TO LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!

I RE-WROTE MY TEXT & FOUND A SHORT COMMENT WHICH
WAS NOT REJECTED BY THE SURVEY. I DID THE SAME AT EACH
TEXT ENTRY OPTION. AT THE END OF THE SURVEY I WAS ASKED
SINCE IT WAS OBVIOUS I WAS NOT HAPPY, WOULD I LIKE TO
BE CONTACTED BY WILDBLUE.

I RESPONDED WTH A YES.

THAT WAS ABOUT 4 WEEKS AGO AND I STILL HAVE NOT
RECEIVED ANY REPLY FROM THEM OR WILDBLUE!

I HAVE EMAILED THE SURVEY COMPANY 7 TIMES SINCE
TAKING THEIR SURVEY AND NEVER RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE.

JUST LIKE WILDBLUE WHO I HAVE EMAILED WELL OVER 150
TIMES. I STARTED CALLING AND EMAILING WILDBLUE ON
THE VERY NEXT DAY AFTER MY HALF ASD INSTALL AND THE
ONLY THING THAT HAS STOPPED ME FROM DUMPING THEM
IS THAT EVERY NOW AND THEN WILDBLUE WORKS FAIRLY
WELL. WHEN IT WORKS FAIRLY WELL IT IS ABOUT 3 TO 4
TIMES FASTER THAN MY DIALUP AND IT WOULD BE NICE FOR
WILDBLUE TO ACTUALLY LIVE UP TO THEIR CONTRACT I
JOINED INTO WITH THEM. IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE
TO USE THE INTERNET WITHOUT TIEING UP MY PHONE LINE.

I STILL HAVE TO KEEP MY DIALUP TO HAVE INTERNET
SERVICE I CAN DEPEND ON WHEN I HAVE TO GET ONLINE.

I JUST PAID FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF DIALUP BECAUSE I
HAVE TO USE THE PHONE LINE IF I WANT TO DO MY
BANKING OR DOWNLOAD SOMETHING WITHOUT THE
FREQUENT DROP OUTS OR TOTAL LOSS OF INTERNET
SERVICE FOR DAYS AT A TIME AS WILDBLUE DOES AT
IT'S BEST.

A FEW DAYS AGO WILDBLUE SEEMED TO BE WORKING
FAIR. MY SPEED TEST SHOWED IT WAS RUNNING 3
TIMES FASTER THAN MY 28,800 DIALUP AND I STARTED
TO DOWNLOAD A CATALOG.

3 HOURS LATER I GAVE UP AFTER WILDBLUE HAD DROPPED
OUT NEARLY 40 TIMES. I WENT ON MY DIALUP AFTER
MIDNIGHT WHEN I COULD USE THE PHONE LINE AND
AFTER 45 MINUTES MY DIALUP HAD DOWNLOADED THE
50 PAGE CATALOG I WANTED. MY DIALUP NEVER DID
DROP OUT AND I GOT THE FILE DOWNLOAD COMPLETE
POPUP AND GOT IT WITH FAR LESS FRUSTRATION THAN
WILDBLUE.

MY GRANDSON IS BUILDING A NEW HOUSE AND JUST
EMAILED ME A DOZEN PICTURES OF THE PROGRESS.

HE SENT IT TO MY WILDBLUE DISHMAIL EMAIL ADDRESS.

I WAS NEVER ABLE TO OPEN THE PICTURES USING
WILDBLUE, I HAD TO USE MY DIALUP TO GET A GOOD
CONNECTION TO MY DISHMAIL ACCOUNT AND FINALLY
WAS ABLE TO GET THE PICTURES.

WILDBLUE SUCKS!

I DO NOT WANT TO SEE WILDBLUE GO OUT OF BUISNESS
I JUST WANT TO HAVE WHAT THEY PROMISED TO ME IN
EXCHANGE FOR THEIR FAR OVERPRICED FAULTY SERVICE.

TV COMPANY TO BUILD THEIR LINE 3 MILES TO ME FOR

THEN GET ROADRUNNER INTERNET AS MY BROTHER HAS.

HIS ROADRUNNER SEEMS LIKE IT IS 1000 TIMES FASTER
THAN MY WILDBLUE AND HE EVEN WATCHES MOVIES
AND DOWNLOADS THINGS FOR ME IN A FEW MINUTES
THAT I CAN NEVER GET ON WB WITHOUT THE CONNECTION
TO THE SERVER BEING RESET! AND HE PAYS LESS THAN HALF
OF WHAT WILDBLUE CHARGES FOR THIS POOR EXCUSE
FOR INTERNET.

HE DOES NOT HAVE THAT FRAP THING THAT SLOWS HIM
DOWN EITHER!

MY PHONE COMPANY HAS DSL A HALF MILE FROM ME, BUT
IS ALSO WAITING FOR FEDERAL MONEY TO COME THIS HALF
MILE TO ME!

I TRIED TO GET THE 3G NETWORK BUT AFTER MY 30 DAY FREE
TRIAL THAT NEVER FOUND 3G AT MY HOME, IT ONLY COST ME
$34.00 TO GET OUT OF THEIR BILLING OF OVER $200.00
FOR THE WEEK I HAD THE EQUIPMENT BEFORE I RETURNED
IT TO THEIR STORE!

IF ALL OF THESE SO CALLED INTERNET WIRELESS AND
SATELLITE SERVICE PROVIDERS WOULD SPEND THE SAME
AMOUNT OF MONEY ON UPGRADING AND PROPERLY
INSTALLING EQUIPMENT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS,
WE COULD BE HAPPY WITH SERVICE.

ALL IT TAKES IS FOR THESE COMPANIES TO STOP
SPENDING MONEY ON FALSE ADVERTISING AND UNTRUE
POSITIVE REVIEWS AS SEEN ON THESE SITES AND
ACTUALLY GET DOWN TO WORK INSTEAD OF GIVING

WildBlue raped my husband's bank account: $500 in TWO months! We cancelled our service, refuse to pay the cancellation fee, and now they're demanding another $300 for the equipment he paid to lease two years in advance.

WildBlue is like a pimp treating its customers like its prostitutes: taking all their money and leaving them with nothing.
