Interesting reading...one person commented that only consultants rated the product more than "3". Well...what do you think we would have rated them if we weren't consultants? I never even considered selling the product until I was totally impressed with the skin care and color. In fact, I had used the skin care line for several years before even trying the color. Do you know how many eyeshadows and lipsticks and foudations I had sitting in my bathroom drawers that just were a waste of money?? Too many to count. They went to my 10 year old daughter to play "dress up". The reason I did sign on as a consultant earlier this year was because I saw the quality of the color. Maybe it costs a little more than Walmart brands, but, I can honestly say it lasts WAY longer. (And it is better in price than most department store brands) There's also many "disgruntled" ex-consultants out there...I feel sorry for them. They seem to have missed out on the good things. MK will only be as good as what you put into it. Many start an MK business for all the wrong reasons...if it's all about $$ your customers can see that a mile away. MK tries hard to uphold a certain image and truly is about "Enriching the lives of women"....if that doesn't appeal to you, then you will probably be better suited to another line of work. Oh, by the way, I am only a consultant...not team leader, director, etc. I'd like to move up one day, but, for now I am happy feeling good about myself and establishing a solid customer base. And I don't even break a sweat in this business...I love it! Bad experience? Find a new consultant or unit in your area. Many of us DO attend training regularly and understand what to do when "your skin breaks out", etc.
