Half English on my mother's side, although that half is partly Norman French. The family landed in New Haven, Connecticut in 1644 (on a ship named the Hector) and promptly moved up the coast to Boston's North Shore. Been in the same area ever since.

03/14/2007		Lots of really old families in this part if the world, Ridge. One of my great-great-etc. grandfathers was accused of witchcraft and barely escaped the noose. Many of them were Loyalists/Tories during the revolution. One, a preacher, was even threatened with having his tongue cut out if he didn't stop speaking in favor of the king. A mixed history. ;-)
