World's Best Cat Litter

World's Best Cat Litter is made from whole kernal corn.

If I could give this a zero-star rating, I would. My sister used this with her cats for ages, and I couldn't understand how she could stand the smell. It was worse than any other product I had seen her use. She started with one kitten in her flat, years ago, and used to use a pine pellet product. I personally wasn't keen on the smell from that anyway, but could live with it. When I started to keep ferrets myself, I got her to sell me a hemp pellet litter, which always gave great odour-reducing properties, and smelled great in itself. She used to work in a petshop at this stage. Soon after this, she discovered World's Best, and began using this, and recommending it to all her customers, including the ones who, like me had been using 100% Green, the hemp-based litter, so I knew my days with this were numbered. But I really, really hate World's Best, or World's Almost-Worst, as I call it. The only thing worse is clay litter (far too dusty and nasty for ferrets!) To my nose, WBCL smells bad even before it is used, and once the cats had been near it, it made me quite nauseous! This stuff is totally noxious! Plus, the stuff is practically dust: ferrets see it more as a digging-box than a litter-tray! It might be ok for cat-owners with no noses whatsoever, but for peeps with ferrets, this is a definite no-no! Unfortunately my fear that, with nobody being recommended my nice hemp litter anymore, suppliers would cease to import it to Ireland, has come to pass. Thankfully tho, some guy came offering her a really excellent silica granule product called Trixie Fresh 'n Easy for a really cheap price (well, a good deal cheaper than World's Best, anyway!) So she's both using and recommending that now, instead of icky, yucky World's Best. And the ferrets are taking to it really well, and it appears so far to have no horrid odour problems. So, this issue is sorted for me, apart from the fact that Trixie products aren't up on this site, so I can't give that one the excellent rating it deserves! But I really can't think of anything nasty enough to say about "World's Best", except maybe forget the zero rating, it needs a minus rating! It makes me just gag to think of it.
