Today is December 15, and on this date in history, in 1939, "Gone With The Wind" premiered in Atlanta.

This phenomenon used to come back to theaters every few years or so to play to packed houses. People never tired of it in pre-VCR, old time America days.

I think if you add an inflation multiplier, that this film is still the highest grossing film in history.

How that wimp, Ashley, could resist the luscious Scarlett is anyone's guess.
