Maybe I got a dud but my 11-87 super mag is super TERRIBLEL! I had only had it for a few weeks before I had to send it back to get the ejection system worked on because it would not cycle 3" or 3 1/2". I got it back and it work sometimes and didn’t others. For those of you who think cleaning it is the answer, well it doesn’t work, not for me. I completely clean my gun checked the o ring and tried to run some 3 1/2 through it and it jammed on the second shot. It’s cost me deer and $750. A friend of mine bought the new Remington SPR453 Auto 3 1/2" and paid half what I did and has never had a jam. I wish I would have waited and bought an SPF453. I think Remington obviously has a design flaw in the newer model 11-87 shotgun and it would be nice if they would make it right with the customer. I highly do NOT recommend the 11-87 model. Try the new SPR453 I think you will be happy you did!
