Internet service has been good. Installation technician was friendly and quick. Unfortunately from a technical standpoint, the Terayon cable modem is only 10Mbit Half Duplex which means you can have all the download performance in the world, but with the end point at 1992 speed there's no way you're going to use it. Which is probably the reason why, in 2006, they're supplying kit which harks back to those early days of ethernet performance. Try starting two or more low bandwidth (5-20kbits) streams and that half duplex link will kill the line from the context switching. Don't think you need to download two things at once?
