Bill Purvis 2

He seems like a good person, but there is some smoke and mirrors involved. He drives two Hummers and a new Mercedes, so he's making lots of $-not that he doesn't deserve a high salary, but it makes me believe that the "Real Time" and real guy approach is because he's not good looking. How many everyday real guys drive Mercedes and Hummers, even if they can affort them.

LawsonLowton, according to what Bill and other fundamentalist preachers teach there are no "good people" apart from the grace of God. Our righteousness is as filthy rags (some translations say used menstrual cloth) before God. The Bible says the heart is wicked. Therefore by Bills own teaching he is not a good person. When you say there is some smoke and mirrors involved you are right. Although what you call smoke and mirrors I prefer to call lies, exaggerations and manipulation. He doesnt nor has he ever driven two Hummers and the Mercedes he was driving when you wrote this review was far from new. Lets get the vehicle thing straight because I hate rumors. His wife drives an H3 the entry level in the Hummer Line (30,000 35,000k). She has put up with Bill all these years, she deserves to drive something nice. He drives a recently purchased Lexus 460L ($61,000 - $71,000 MSRP). His youngest son can be seen driving the family Avalanche, Mrs. Purvis former vehicle. You are correct he does deserve a high salary. Nobody can deny that Purivs is a great communicator, and has grown a large organization. Sure, he is not that easy on the eyes, he himself is fond of self deprecation, but Looks have nothing to do with it. I believe it all started out with the great intentions of saving souls and just like most every other people blessed with some notoriety and wealth it has become all about the money. People once mattered to Bill Purvis, in my opinion they no longer do.
