We have also used Johnny Cat for years. We are a busy, multi-cat household, so the automatic scooping boxes and us having time to scoop several times a day doesn't work for us. A giant box, 20lbs of Johnny Cat Litter and weekly changes, with everything dumped out and a new bag of litter does the job for us. (a well-paid teenage resident does the honors.) It does a decent job in keeping odors down. I've tried all the litters out there, and Johnny Cat is our favorite. (In the summer, we can even push it to two weeks, between changes, with the cats going outside half the time!)
