Joyce Meyer 5

If you do not want to line Joyces pockets don't buy her books. I am so tired of people on this site judging others. Who says God doesn't want Joyce to be rich? I do not believe God wants us to be poor.If Joyce has something to sell that she believes will help someone then more power to her.If you send her a ton of money then that is something you can only blame yourselves for,God only expects his 10 percent. It is not like she is not working for her living people! I have a few of her books and I can tell you that they have helped me.I do not expect her to provide these books for free,no one should be expected to.All authors make money. But lets face it,none of these preachers are perfect because they are human.Look to God and you will know what is best for you but no one should call her a false prophet because only God knows her heart and motives. If she is not right then God will expose that.It is also a fact that rather you like it or not it does take money to get the word out there on a large level and Joyce has managed to do that. God wants us healthy and happy and I believe he wants us finacially healthy also. Does that mean we will all be millionares? no but seek his kingdom and he Will give you the desires of your heart, that is a fact.It is only when you make money your God that it is evil.

Why does Ministry Watch . com urge people to discontinue making monatery donations to the huckster Joyce Meyers? Because of her utter lack of transparency AND her obvious lavish donor funded lifestyle of pure excess!

Make sure you know which christ Meyer "led" you to, loriil. As I stated before, only the Holy Spirit leads people to the Christ of the gospels, false prophets like Meyer lead people to a false christ...one that tells his false prophets to charge people money for the gospel, when the REAL Christ told HIS disciples "freely you have received...FREELY give." And yes, I can honestly say that she has worked hard for what she has. It's not easy, and it takes hard work to con millions of people into giving you millions and millions of dollars.

Loriil, first of all, nobody is "judging" anybody here. Please be careful how you use that word. What's going on here is discernment, what's going on here is folks who are aware that Meyer is leading many people astray by a gospel that looks good on the surface, that feels good, that tickles itching ears, and that soothes many many people, but it's a false gospel of prosperity...it's a false gospel of "seed faith," it's a false gospel where the messenger gets rich beyond their wildest dreams because so many people give them money for something that people are to receive and to give FREELY. I don't know how much more I can stress that. No, Meyer doesn't "force" people to buy her books and CDs, but she DOES use high pressure sales, otherwise, people won't buy them, and she won't make her millions. "Buy this book, it'll change your life." And they are MORE than self-help books, they are books instructing people how to get closer to God, how to pray, how to release THIS blessing or THAT blessing, how to overcome THIS or how to overcome THAT. Meyer uses her interpretation of the GOSPEL in all her books, and Meyer charges people MONEY to receive that gospel, therefore, like Paul warned people about, she is one of the MANY who peddle the gospel of Christ(II Cor 2:17). The apostle Peter admonishes people who feed the flocks of God.."Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking oversight thereof, not by constraint, but WILLINGLY; not for FILTHY MONEY, but of a ready mind(I Peter 5:2). How can you overlook the word WILLINGLY? How can you overlook the word NOT FOR MONEY? Also, it's not my purpose to attack anyone either, but I have a tremendous burden to warn people of the error and danger of following these people.

Unfortunately, false prophets have an uncanny ability to make people ignore plain scripture which calls out their devious doctrines and behaviour, and make them focus on their so called good works. Paul could not have been any more clear as to waht constitutes the behaviour of a false prophet, as he tried his best to disassociate himself from them to the church of Corinth. Declaring that he preached the gospel to them freely as others were peddliing the gospel in second Corinthians 11:7, he also reminded them that they indeed are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Cor 11:13-15.
