How does Mr. Cherry explain his RV worth approx. $1 mil, his Outdoor Resort in Indo,CA, his othe RV resort on the east coast, and his Lear Jet that he uses to fly from one Multi $mil. home to another? Doesn't he understand that Christ preached against such matereal things, and why doesn't he share his wealth with his followers? Are his followers aware of his flagarant life style?

06/25/2008		Not every pastor who has material things are crooks! Pastor Cherry is a wise steward and he had THINGS before he became a pastor. By the way, why don't you ask him how much he has given away. Who cares what he has. Prosperity is not a sin. Just because he's a minister he's not allowed to have ESPECIALLY if her earned it BEFORE he became a minsiter. He had 3 companies that he owned. He had a life before Christ and is saved. Rich folks can't get saved? God has never asked anyone to give up their riches, not even the rich young ruler. He said sell what you have, that means to make a profit. Get real!

05/02/2007		If you live in the DC area or near another From the Heart Church, I encourage you to visit. I am confident you will see the that everything is on the up-and-up. The church receives an independent, professional audit each year, the jet is leased by the church (not the Cherry's) and saves money over commercial tickets, and there are mechanisms for strengthening the pew. Pastor Cherry's personal possessions are simply the result of sound personal financial management over the course of his life (he is in his 60's after all). Most importantly, the Word really is preached and lived by leadership.
