MAC Cosmetics 1

I bought the foundation, powder and concealer last week, had to return it twice because they could match my skin tone. Yes, the Studio Fx has great coverage, but the powder is cakey-it has to be applied with a brush not the applicator that comes with it. You cannot reapply it during the day without looking ready for the funeral home. They only have yellow and pink fuondations and on someone light complected like myself it doesn't work. I got my money back at Macy's, no questions asked.

If you are using the Studio Fix pressed, even though it looks like a powder, it is not it is a foundation and is not meant to be "touched up" through out the day or applied over top the studio fix fluid. would you grab your bottle of liquid whatever brand you use, put it all over, and then two hours later do it all over again? no because you will look caked on. same with the studio fix. its meant to be used once. if you want refreshed, use the pressed powder, blot powder, or fix plus. that's what they are made for! I am sorry to hear you weren't matched up right, that's the biggest battle there! there are a few people that are in between shades, where they may need nw25 and nc30 and mix the two for example. not everyone is either warm or cool but sometimes a combo. Just have to find what works and then you will love it too! nice thing is that MAC does have an awesome return policy if you try it and dont like it! GOOD LUCK and give it another shot!
