Homosexuals Choose to be Gay - Special Rights Should Not Be Granted to Those Just Because of the Way They Choose to Behave 5

I believe it is a choice that has many underlying influences. I also believe that we are all born into sin and as the Word says this is a sin. But the difference is I know of no sin that that controls your lifestyle at birth.  Why would God subject his people to a sin at birth beyond their ability to choose what he felt was an abomination?

Maybe because it IS NOT a choice? Some questions have very tough answers. Why would he predestine some children to die of leukemia or Tay-Sachs? God is all powerful; God is all good; evil exists...you can reconcile any two, but never all three. That is called the theodicy.

Simple leukemia or Tay-Sachs are not sin; I never said there is not disease or illness in our world.

Good comment Donovan - I appriciate your honesty and respect your view and understanding of God and man.

You still haven't solved the theodicy, have you? You can tap dance around it all you want...it is still there and it is still one of the great mysteries of God. Although I am not a person who is either homophobic nor homophilic, I still come down by saying that isn't the way we do things according to the Constitution. Please, once again, notice that the parent heading for this trhead is POLITICS, not THEOLOGY. I respect your right to your opinion, which is really a nice way of saying that I respect your right to be wrong. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain either the psychology or genetics of the issue at hand. I am qualified in both areas, but I grow weary of this endless diatribe.

BTW, please excuse the poor case and sentence construction in my last post. I am tired.

I have made my point and although you see me as wrong, I strongly disagree with you on this issue. God does not cause evil because he is holy; man has a choice, that is God's way. That is God's choice. It all comes done to choice. You can not convince me otherwise.
