they will help you watch it all right. they will even help you eat it. after all you meant to share those yummies with them right? once my brother put a freshly make chocolate skake on the ground while he went back to make the food. when he came back the shake was mostly gone. he started to blame me, accusing me of drinking his shake. i insisted I did not when we noticed our dog calmly licking his chop with remnants of the chocolate shake still stuck to his whiskers. guess he did not leave a shake on the ground anymore, only an invite for a snack for our dogs.
