Hi, Canidae is a great value. If you want to stay with the same brand....Canidae now has a lamb formula. Try alternating 3 months each. For variety and to spice it up a little add some canned and raw foods at the evening meal. I feed 3/4 cup kibble in the morning to my 2 dogs. For the evening meal they get only 1/2 cup kibble plus either some raw food or split 1 can of canned food. Dogs need some raw food at least a couple of times a week. It is easy and economical. One day add a couple of raw eggs on top. One day feed some of the raw chicken from your chicken dinner. My dogs get 1/2 a neck each, 1 wing tip each, and split the gizzard pack (liver, heart, and gizzard). On nights they don't get raw, they get canned food. Innova and Canidae are priced below some of the other quality canned food. One day a week feed either "Merrick brand working dog stew" or "solid gold brand green beef tripe". Both of these formulas are beef tripe and are very beneficial for your dogs. They have enzymes from the cows stomach that help your dog, and your dog will love the taste. Hi, I would like to suggest that if you feed your dog raw food to do it seperate from the kibble. Kibble takes longer to digest and if raw is fed with it then the raw food will stay in the stomach longer than it otherwise would. Tripe is very good for dogs, but it also smells really bad so you might want to feed it outside! And Evo makes a really good canned food that contains 95% meat (comes in venison, rabbit, duck, chicken and turkey, and beef).
