My generation- whiny, bitchy, and shockingly self-absorbed. . .we didn't learn quite enough from watching our multiple-divorced parents mess up a few times. . .parenting by gen-Xers is a little underwhelming in my experience. . .it's like a noticeable percentage of us want to be our kids' friends instead of authority figures. . .on the plus side- gen-Xers deal with the most competitive job market against talent from all over the world- it's a diverse, talented, and difficult time but oh so much fun. . .
