My S-10 now has 297,000 miles running super tech oil and filter..I bought the truck with 88k and have no idea of its prior maintenance..I use the 10-30 with a 1 qt mix of 10-40..I do this to raise the viscosity just a little due to normal wear on the engine..I change it every 3500 miles, period!! It has worked flawlessly and I love the savings..Wish i knew who really makes it?? Oh, I burn about 1/4 qt every oil change. Doesnt marketing suck, some people pay the big bucks to buy crappy products (FRAM)... Keep it up Wally-World...
