Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909) 2

I'm sorry, I just refuse to give more than 2 stars to a racist.

Some Black Italians were murdered and he made a pubvlic statements saying how terrible it was. He then sent a private letter saying the opposite. If what he was saying in that letter was perfectly acceptable, he would've said the same in his public statement.

Inviting the first black man (Booker T. Washington) to the white house is racist?
