Just even a year or so ago the Amtrak site was super lousy, I'm talking bad but recently they've really cleaned it up. Not to mention that they are touting their new Acelo train, the high speed service, that will be travelling the east coast routes as up to 150 mph. They also have lots of specials for purchasing on line, for students, passes, seasonal etc. It looks like Amtrak is finally trying to catch up!!
