"he wandered into Vegas land after early success. Not really true. After he left 'Bang' in 1968,he became a pretty progressive and experimental rock n roller at MCA/Uni.Then he released a rockin' ode to NYC with Robbie Robertson of the band.Yes,in the late 70's to mid 80's,his music had a cheesy disco style and overblown ballads. But then why is Rod Stewart in the rock n roll hall of fame?.There is little stylistic difference between "Do You Think I'm Sexy" and "Coming to America".Atleast Diamond returned to his roots in the last 10 years.
