American Budo Judo College 5

The American Judo College keeps the teachings of its founder Frank J. Goody DD alive. His love of the Martial Arts and his compassion for people makes a unique training style. Dr. Goody held a tenth degree in Yewara G.D.S. and Sin Go Ju Ryu Karate, and a 6th degree in Ninjutsu and Judo, and other ranks in many other arts. Some of his teachers were Mifune, Ichi Jima, Kobiashi, Otaki, and Nagi. Though Shihan has died his love and passion is still alive and can be felt in the American Judo (Budo) College.

Craig, I remember you from years ago in the 60s I think. You were stocky and strong and great to work out with. You were a orange belt then. Someone at the dojo there broke my ankle there and didn't even apologize to me for it. My father paid money to the school for me learn judo. My Dad didn't even think about suing them he just enrolled me in a different karate school in town. After I progressed to a green belt I went to a karate demenstration with the school and Mr Goody and many of his students threated me with physical harm for not being loyal to him or his school. Dean Mayo was the only one there that told them they was doing the wrong thing. Dean Mayo was working out there the same time you and I was. I remember you Craig from about 40 years ago. Hope that life has been good to you. Dave Miles
