BewareFalseProphets

First of all, let me say that I have a bit more respect for Wommack than I do the plethora of prosperity preachers. But I regretfully feel that he misses the mark too many times. I don't believe that we can do any certain formula and God automatically does what we want Him to. I've know people with great faith and love for God who had ailments that either took them at young ages, or plagued them well into their old age. I don't believe it's a matter of confessing this, or mustering up enough faith for that. God's hand is not limited by what we puny humans do or don't do. He works ALL things after the council of His own will. He also seems to believe that God has "limited sovereignty," meaning that He's allowed His sovereignty to adjust to man's "free will." I emailed him on this point, and his secretary and I exchanged a few words. Either God is sovereign, or man's free will is sovereign. It can't be both, and sovereignity cannot be "limited."

JCSaves, come let us REASON together: Who's truth are you refering to? The truth in and of the word or the "truth" you have been taught by people who SHARE or have similar theology? Have you listened to THE Spirit, OR just men? Because we have been taught the same thing over and over does NOT mean that those who are teaching has, have or had "rightly didvided the word of truth," GOD's TRUTH. I personally do not believe that there is ANY "man" who has all the answers, AW included, but he takes a no nonsense approach to the scriptures and is NOT influenced by denominational TRADITIONS or doctrines. Example, can YOU explain the 3 days that Jesus spent in the heart of the earth after his death, when he was buried on FRIDAY afternoon (9th hour) and then rose on SUNDAY morning? I have never heard AW speak about this, this just a question I pose, to YOU! And with YOUR explanation, did you come to this conclusion on your own OR by what you have been taught or read? Yours in Christ---PEACE

What's too bad for YOU is that you are totally unable to tell a false teacher when you hear one, but I don't fault you. The bible says that men would heap unto themselves false teachers who will tickle their itching ears. It's "novices" that are taken in by Wommack's teachings, because they are constantly weaned on the milk of God's word, and never mature enough to be able to digest meat. I'm glad that you have spent so much time "meditating" in the word of God like your man Andrew has. Unfortunately, it hasn't gotten you very far in giving you the ability to rightly divide the word of truth.

It's also too bad that you can't see that neither God nor Andrew are subject to your concept of "sovereign." I recommend that you spend more time meditating in the Word of God until you *hear* God. Andrew's done that. I've done that. You should too.

It's too bad that you can't see that you've plainly stated that your doctrine isn't based on God's Word but on YOUR SEEING people's experience. Even a novice should know better.
