Pros: Have a healthy fan base that will argue endlessly for their inclusion. Cons: Aforementioned base doesn't realize that the band's music contains nothing of lasting merit.

Completely disagree about the 'lasting merit' comment. I still listen to their albums from the 70s on a regular basis and they still sound as fresh as the day I bought them. 'Roundabout' alone must rate as one of the all time great songs that is still frequently played on rock radio stations. Yes music isn't and will never be mainstream, but it does have staying power.
