The early model Camaros (1967-69) were among the greatest muscle cars ever. Driving one of these cars to the line was to literally throw down the gauntlet against the car right next to it. Seriously, there was nothing like seeing one of these beauties coming down the road. And as far as the greatest Camaro year, 1969? This was the year the great dealer-custom Camaros (with the COPO package) came out. Chevrolet dealerships across the country such as Nickey, Dana, Berger, and the legendary Yenko of Pennsylvania took advantage by specially ordering the COPO-engined Camaros to create ones uniquely their own (and which are among the most sought after). Surely, every Camaro aficionado's jaw would drop at the sight of a Yenko 427. Even the small block 327s, 307s and 302s are highly sought today, as collectors try to outbid each other for the right (and honor) to own these legendary muscle cars.
