He teaches repent and believe the gospel. Repent means to change your mind and I agree but it does not mean to turn from sin as he uses it. If you could turn from sin, you could save yourself. Only after you believe the gospel, which is that Jesus died and rose again and that did all that was necessary, then the Holy Spirit turns you from sin. You cannot do it in the flesh!!!! That is one of the reasons people are not being saved because they are not getting a clear definition of the gospel! You cannot use catchphrases!!!
