California has everything, from beautiful, scenic deserts and mountains, to terrible congested cities filled with garbage and crap. I wouldn't give you two cents for Los Angeles, or all the crime and filth around it. I grew up in Redondo Beach during the late 60's and early 70's, and it was bad there even then. I can only imagine how it is now. But...northern California is beautiful.
