People say that fans in NY and Boston are hard on their players, and they are, but I think Philadelphia takes the cake- a guy could hit .698 with 154 homers and 581 Rbi's and still get booed mercilessly... believe me I know, I had a relative (since deceased) who played there in the 30's and 40's, and they booed them just as hard then... Burrell has indeed had some mediocre or bad years but also some years with good production, he's hardly had a flop career.
