Depends on your family I guess.

In my case the only family nearby are my kids, and they're pretty unlikely to set me up.

Although, in some of the most bizarre episodes of my adult life, my ex-wife has tried twice to hook me up with someone.

My answer the first time was a surprised "No" The second time, when she was trying to set me up with one of her most neurotic girlfriends was "I'm single, but I'm not that single." Then I asked her why, if she was so dissatisfied with me that she found a replacement for me, why she thought I'd be suitable for her girlfriends. That ended that conversation, and she hasn't made any further attempts.

LOL, nice . . . . however, makes me wonder how she would've brought up that conversation to her friends. "Hey, my ex-husband is a real great guy, wanna give him a try?"

I guess that's one way of looking at it. I did wonder why she picked the most dysfunctional of them though... There's a reason those particular women are single.
