It is very hard to find a greater swordsman than Darth Maul. His mastery of the dual blade is second to few, if any. Sadly, despite his proficiency in this department, he is let down by his weakness as a Force-sensitive, and also by his lack of spine. If he had any incentive and didn't just act as Sidious' perpetual lackey, he would have been some force to fight against.
