Much as I loved these players, or the ones still with the team when I first got into the game when I was a 2nd grader in the fall of '78, I think to be honest, I'd have to say that there's a good chance that it's one of the weakest ones on the list. Tiant was the best pitcher on the team, and although I don't like to play this game much, I can't see how Hunter, who's in the Hall was really any better, they're very comparable. Bill Lee won 17 games three straight years as a lefty in Fenway, no mean feat, and was a riot. Rick Wise had a good career. Reggie Cleveland was ordinary but serviceable, Roger Moret had some decent years, Fergie Jenkins was a HOF'er with the Cubs but merely had a couple of years around .500. Not a great staff, but filled with characters...
