They are what they are. They fly to a very good amount of cities, and manage to keep their prices low. I don't mind the unreserved seating like other people. During this latest holiday season I did have an issue when I was put on our flight, but my wife and infant son were put on standby because she couldn't check in at the baggage check, but had to go to the gate to check in with an infant. My requests to talk with a manager weren't met. Things worked out when I spoke loud enough for those around us to notice, and a lady gave up her seat to my wife. That was a drawback of the unreserved seating situation, but my family and I have traveled Southwest a lot over the last 10 years with no other problems.
