Irishgit is right. Her life story makes for effective drama but the woman herself was a terrible politician and statesman who never actually "ruled" anything. Easily manipulated, she was at the mercy of varying people and interest groups her entire life. She's most often rightly portrayed as a tragic figure at the mercy of her own foolishness and ineptitude.
