I bought an over the range microwave Oct 07 and here by July the handle has broken 3 times. It has been repaired 2 times. I requested a better handle or a different unit the second time around, but the repair guy said he couldn't do anything about it. Now I just got done talking to sears Rapid Resolution department who stated "the technician is the only one who has the authorization to request a replacement unit, but it has to go through 3 investigations before its authorized." So I clarified for her "he has to initiate a request but cannot authorize it." This was only after I mentioned the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.
