When appointed GM for the 2006-2007 season, inflated the team's payroll by signing Boris Diaw to a ridiculous 5 yr 45 mil dollar contract, subsequently Diaw had a sub-par season, and woefully underperformed in the playoffs. He also condoned signing Marcus Banks to a 5 yr 21 mil dollar deal, and did not even play Banks at all during the regular season or the playoffs. Did not add anyone meaningful during the 2006 offseason, and may have ultimately short-changed the Suns in their playoff series against the Spurs.
