Violet Palmer

Violet Palmer is the only woman officiating in the NBA. She has been there for 10 seasons already. She was born in Lynwood, CA in 1964, and she has accumulated more than 15 years officiating experience including 1 season in the WNBA, 7 years of USA basketball, 2 years in the CBA and 8 years as a collegiate officiating experience

Palmer takes a lot of heat, probably because she is the only woman officiating right now in the NBA. A lot of it is unjust. She has improved. Doesn't react too well or fast enough in many situations but I can easily name 20 officials that are worse than Palmer.
