I think it depends on the chiropractor.  But you do have to be careful; one wrong move, and they can actually cripple you for life.

Funny, I never heard or read of one example in the history of Chiropractic where someone was crippled by an adjustment. One stroke out of a billion cervical adjustments is all that's documented as possible, even that case was/is still being debated. The fact is, Chiropractic is safer than taking an asprin and is the safest form of health care that exists.
