I personally think that Suntrust is extending credit without the permission of the customer. In otherwords, if you use your Suntrust debit card, they will approve the transaction(s), then turn around and charge you $32.00 per transaction. If there is not enough of a balance in the account, the charge should be denied. Many of us are fast paced professionals and they know it. I was personally told by a Suntrust bank employee that the $32.00 charges go back to the originating Suntrust bank as "a bonus". I think a class action law suit is on the horizon.
