Toyota Landcruiser

reviewed by hunter2

Toyota introduced the Landcruiser in 1951. This full-size vehicle offers 13 m.p.g. in the city, 16 m.p.g. on the highway and comfortably seats eight people.

Toyota Landcruiser 2

Reliable yes but for $60K it falls short in many areas from my perspective. Have owned for a bout a year and the handling is second rate,a very clumsy vehicle with lots of sway in turns, acceleration mediocre, gas guzzler barely 13 combined, busted front seat belts, dvd player quits intermittently, inability to control interior lighting by drive, no outside auto dimming mirrors, no rain sense wipers, I could go on. Toyota advertises this vehicle as luxury but Toyota cannot do luxury (except Lexus)

Think twice and compare before you buy this vehicle. Hate to be negtive but that is how i see it.

So, it falls short, eh? Well, go buy yourself a Delani, Explorer or Escalade. When your Detroit piece of junk takes a dump on ya, your LC experiences will seem trivial; I speak from experience. I've had my '99 Cruiser for 6 years now; not one single problem with it. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned.
