Memorial Stadium (Clemson)

reviewed by CoopsTiger

Clemson Memorial Stadium has a capacity of over 84,000. Memorial Stadium was built in 1942 and has undergone several renovations. The playing field was dedicated to Frank Howard in 1974. Clemson fans refer to the Stadium as "Death Valley".

Tradition. Pride. The little Big school that has heart. And that heart beats loud and strong at Death Valley.

Tiger Fans' hospitality is awesome. There may be 1 or 2 bonehead fans amongst the crowd, but overall it's good. Always got a shiver with the crowd's energy, the sea of Orange, & Tiger's Roar over the loudspeakers. One of the 1st place I wanted to go after being in Iraqi was Death Valley. Death Valley's mystique & allure did not disappoint. It was good to be home.

For those folks hating on Death Valley because your team lost to us, man up & keep your rude comments that have no relevence to yourself. For LSU fans, imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery, right? Take the complement. I've been to BOTH. Clemson Death Valley is louder. Maybe there needs to be a scale at both stadiums to record, once & for all, who the loudest is.

Looking forward to LSUs chicken fry when they play USC on the 29th. Go (Geaux) Tigers!

Hey coops...you must have missed it. We beat #11 Georgia last night. Your paper tigers were busy giving up 26 points to Monroe High School. Ready for another a** whipping from the Gamecocks again this year?
