I made a purchase online and had it shipped to my mother, there was a place on the shopping cart to receive an instant $10 off on the purchase. Well, that $10.00 off has cost me near $40.00. At no time was I ever told I would be charged $9.95 per month for a SBS Fun Family Rewards Service. I still don't even know what the rewards service does and yet I continue to be charged the $9.95 monthly. My calls to discontinue the service haven't been returned or acknowledged. Someone tell me how to end the vicious cycle. Disturbed in FL

I am in the exact same boat and I live in Australia!!! They have a hopeless online site. Can someone please let us know how to get this rewards thing canceled? Thanks, Barbara

There should be a class action lawsuit against JC PEnney for this. I didn't catch the 9.95 a month charge on my credit card for 6 months. 60.00!!! For what? I never authorized SBS and JC Penney had no right to give my credit card information to a third party!! I am outraged at this. How many people have they 'stolen' money from? What is JC PEnney getting out of this? Do they have an interest in SBS Fun Family Rewards? I want my money back!

JC Penneys and SBS Family Fun have also ripped me off ! Did not check my CC act for 4 month and after checking it today I find 4x charges at $9.95 from "family fun". Called Penney's and got no help at all, just a snotty attitude. They gave me phone # for Family Fun. Calling there was a headache.They agreed to cancel my acct,and credit my cc for 2 of the 4 charges, thats it. Still dont know what that company is all about but i NEVER signed up for it.I am going thru Chemo and all this aggravation has been hard on me.I will never shop at Penneys again and it is a shame that stores sign up for these rip of tactics. If i was stronger health wise, i would pursue this , but i just dont have it in me.

Why don't we all get together and tell JC Penny to be responsible enough to stop these illegal practices of divulging credit card information to SBS * FUN FMILY REWARDS (not FUNNY at all) or else face a class action suit in Federal Court on credit card fraud, mail fraud and all other charges we might be able to think of. Report it as a fruadulent activity and have your card issuer cancel the card. I had the same thing happen to me. The first month I noticed it I called the bank inquiring about the charge. They gave me the contact information for SBS Fun Family Rewards. When I called they had no information about me in their system and told me they were not able to assist me as a result. They could not account for how or why I was being charged this $9.95. I called the bank and explained what was happening. They removed the charge as a courtesy. Today I saw the charge again. I immediately called the fraud department at the bank. They closed the account immediately, no question asked and opened an investigation into the matter.

i am having the same problem. It is $60.00 later and have called to cancel 3 times and still keep charging me I did'nt authorize this i just clicked on a 10 dollar rebate nothing said i was going to be charged 9.95 a month a ten dollar rebate has cost me 60 dollars. please i have 3 children to support i need them to stop taking this money out monthly can someone tell me how to make it stop
