What can I say? I like Kansas. A laid-back, big-sky kind of place where you can drive for hours on country roads, enjoy the wide-open prairies, and know that you will never encounter a crowd. Lots of wildlife and many small pleasant towns with restaurants that serve real food. The Flint Hills region is beautiful: rolling green hills that stretch away to the horizon a million miles from the nearest condo, gated community, or high-rise.
