Mossberg Ssi-One 4

Very accurate gun. The biggist fault of this gun is the trigger. Not adjustable and very heavy from factory. Fix the trigger and it would be my favorite of the single shots.

Dry fire the ssi for an hour or two, this will work wonders on the trigger pull.

You can adjust this trigger on the SSi-one with very little effort.

It may seem complicated, but all you do is remove the stock knock out the beaver tailed cross member at the end of the receiver, and the small pin at the top of the receiver, using a flat tiped screw driver pry out the mech. that holds the safety mech. and lift it off the receiver.

You can then remove the two pins that hold the trigger and release arm that lets the hammer go forward The second pin holds the hammer. You can shorten the spring some and file the hammer and release arm. I changed a receiver by moving the spring back toward the trigger, drilled a quarter inch hole, tapped it and put in a set screw and another spring to adjust the trigger.

I can take it down and put it back together in less then an hour, with all parts of the safety jinstalled

You can call me at 1 803 840 7860 for more detail. I have a 30-06 243.
