Cropper

Cropper is a "point and shoot" screen capture utility written in C#. It makes it fast and easy to grab parts of the screen and easily crop out sections of vector graphic files such as Fireworks without having to flatten the files or open in a new editor. Can be used for capturing parts of a Web Site, including text and images. Software optimaized for writing documentation requiring images of application or Web Site.

Cropper is a nice software by itself, but its functionality might be significantly improved by installing free plug-ins. Some of them:

  • AnimatedGif - Captures to an animated GIF image.
  • AviFormat - Captures to an AVI movie.
  • CountdownPng - Gives you a countdown before taking the shot to allow you to set it up.
  • SendToEmail - Sends the image via the default e-mail client.
